Last full day in Vilnius

Isabella
Sasha
On Friday the 22nd, we had quite the adventure. In the morning we woke up, had breakfast and I had to write my blog, which I didn't do the night before. Soon, Irina came to pick us up to go to Skypark, a trampoline place. We then started walking to Skypark. When we came there, Irina bought us tickets and we rushed to the trampolines. After about an hour I fell and probably stretched my leg, and then Sasha fell, but she got better soon. Later, it was 1:00, (how time flew!). Irina showed us a Pizzeria  where we had late lunch. It really hurt jumping on trampolines and walking for me because my leg hurt. We all had juice and Pizza, but Irina had pasta. We came back to Skypark and played in the Jungle Gym for a while, before my leg hurt so badly, that I couldn't bear it and sat down with Irina. Irina's daughter, Valeria, also joined us then. The girls played for a while longer, and then we went to a shop and bought us ice cream. We hurried home. on a trolley bus. Where Oleg was waiting for us to take us to his house with grandma and dad. We drove to his house, had dinner, played, had dessert. And now for the fun part. At dessert, Isabella and Sasha were trowing food at each other. Okay, maybe it isn't so funny. We played for a little while outside on the playground and drove home. We quickly got to bed, but i woke up in the middle of the night, Sasha did too, because our legs hurt.

I am sorry to say to all of the people who like my blog, but tomorrow is my last blog for Lithuania this year. :( :(

Slow Thursday

Today was a very busy day for us. First, we woke up and ate breakfast. I wrote my blog, till eleven and then, Oleg drove us to Akropolis. In Akropolis, which by the way is a mall, where we wanted to ice skate, but we had to wait, 1/2 an hour. While we were waiting, we stopped by some shops to buy Sasha some rain boots, but she didn't like them. Soon, we were let into the ring, and it turns out that both of the girls forgot how to skate. I had to teach them. At the end of the 1 hour session they were doing really well. The hour that we were given flew by quickly. We quickly sat down in a restaurant and gobbled up all the food that we got.

At about 2:00, we walked into some shops, and time flew, so it was about 3:00 when we were done. Inga, who was there also, bought us toys. I got a set for making friendship bracelets, Sasha got a Lego set, Isabella got a stuffed-animal dog, and Vika got a bunny that you have to color (don't tell her!). We walked to the second floor to a jungle gym for kids. We played for an hour there. After playing for an hour strait, we went to a Store bough my great-grandma a rug, and went out of the mall. At that time, grandma called a taxi while Sasha started to balance on top of a garbage can. Of course she fell in. Soon our taxi came and we headed for our great-grandma's house. We had dinner. Irina and her daughter also came. Valeria, Sasha, Isabella, and I went to a few playgrounds, before we went home. At home, we fell into bed and went into a deep sleep.

Almost Accident on Wednesday

Making the nail
Still making the nail
Finally, the day has come! Last week, grandma booked a class for us, on making metal nails, that would be on Wednesday the 20. Early in the morning, we all woke up and had breakfast. After that, grandma did our hair, to make sure that it wouldn't get on fire in the blacksmith's shop. I wrote my blog, and we hurried to to blacksmith's shop. When we got there, we learned about how to do it, put on aprons and glasses, and got started. First, Sasha made the fire brighter and I started making the nail. Soon we started switching around. People came in and took pictures of us. In about an hour, we were done, and the lady who was teaching us, popped the nail into the water. Grandma payed. and we Started walking home, since it was about one. We walked into a little church and started walking to a restaurant were dad already ordered and was waiting for us.

At the Park
After we finished eating, dad went back to work again, but we went to park     . We played there for a while, but there is only one interesting thing the happened, which I want to tell you about. At the playground, there is a carousal, where children, spin it. Three boys, started spinning it slow at first, but then, really, really fast. When it was slow, I jumped off because I was losing my grip, but Isabella and Sasha stayed on. Thankfully Isabella was in the middle, but Sasha was holding on with only her hands,so she was flying in circles, parallel to the ground (If Sasha jumped off, them she would have probably broken something). We went back home, since it was near 4:00. we got home, and played on our iPad's for a while. Soon, we went to Vitalik's home in the city and we played with Ilyishka for a while before we got home and went to bed.

Дача on Tuesday

Walking to the bazaar
Walking back
At about 7 or 8:30, all of us woke up and had breakfast. After breakfast, Sasha and I had to write our blogs. When we were done with all that, Isabella, Sasha, grandma and I, walked to the bazaar on the other side of town. Grandma only wanted to buy some sausages, and some fruits, but we ended up buying that and some pastries, some chocolate mushrooms, an iced tea and much more. We then hurried back to our house, yet we stopped by a few shops and the girls annoyed grandma a lot (one store was were dad bought mom a present!) Finally, we came home. Grandma called for a taxi to go and see her friend from school. Dad, Sasha, Isabella, and I walked to Kibinas Inn, bought Kibinas and a sweet desert, and went to Coffee Inn to eat there. Later we rushed home and played on our iPad's for a while before grandma got home. Oleg and Lena drove over to our house and picked up grandma, Sasha, Isabella and me to go to their Summer house (Дача). When we got there, we started picking, apples, white, black and red current, cherries, dill, onions, wild blueberries, raspberries and cucumbers. we ate some of that and also had some cheese, and bread. Then, Oleg, Isabella and I went into the forest. We tried to collect some berries but with very little luck. Then all of us, kids, and Oleg, went to a well and fetched some water. We stayed at the Дача for a while, and then drove to my great-grandma's house were we had dinner, and walked home. It was late, so dad let us go to bed and not write our blog. So here I am, writing my blog, in the morning.

Marvelous travels on Monday

The Green Building
Today, early in the morning, we woke up and ate breakfast. We then waited for about 1/2 an hour and went to a playground. The playground was near our house, literally 10 meters away. Isabella, Sasha, and I played on the jungle-gym for a little while. After we had some fun there, we started walking to a mall on the other side of the river Neris. On the way there, we stopped by the Park Molodezie, and had some more fun on the playgrounds (there were two of them.) Later, we went to a restaurant called the Green Building. It wasn't actually green, but it had some spots to sit on in the backyard. There were a few trees which made it look green, but that was all.
Eating Ice Cream

When we were done eating, we started on our path again. Grandma, Isabella, Sasha and I, met our dad walking on Prospect Gedeminasa and said hi to him. Then, we started walking to the mall, while dad went the other way to go to work. Later we came to the mall, called Europa, and walked into a bookstore, were Grandma bough Sasha a book. We walked into a few little shops, had ice cream, and started heading back home, as we were walking, grandma showed us were dad was born. We walked on and on, and soon Isabella had a stomach ache. Grandma quickly rushed us home, just in time (you know what you need when your stomach aches). We rested for an hour or so and went to a Ukrainian restaurant called Borch. We were met by Oleg and Lena, and waited a couple of minutes for my great-grandma and Inga before ordering. After we finished eating, we called a taxi for my great-grandma and Inga, and walked home with Oleg and Lena. Grandma put out desert and I had to write.

Soaked Sunday

Sunday, hooray, everything opens at twelve o'clock! In the morning, I woke up a little later than usual, because I went to sleep at eleven. We had all sorts of stuff for breakfast. Berries, omelets, sandwiches, salami, and much more. Later we went to see something that day wanted to get for mom, but the shop was closed. Even though the fancy amber shop was closed, we still went on with our journey. Dad, Isabella, Sasha came to the bazaar which we intended to go to after the shop. There we bought some fruits and berries (after we tried them). Soon we went home and washed our fruits and berries. We then all decided to go to the shop again and see if it was open or not. Luckily it was open and we ALMOST bought the gift, but unfortunately dad forgot his wallet. After that, we had to go home again to get my dad's wallet, and the girls stayed back at home. Dad and I came to the shop again and finally, FINALLY, bought mom her present. Then we walked in and out of some stores and hurried back to our house, to get the car to go to my great-grandma's house, to say bye to our Polish relatives who were leaving.

When we came to grandma's, I put my nose into my book and started reading. Isabella and Sasha kept getting on my nerves.
Sasha: "Georgia lets go play!"
Me: "No, I'm reading"
Sasha: "Are you trying to ignore me?!"
Me: "No, I'm just reading!"
Isabella: "Let's go play!"
Sasha and I: "No!!!!!!!!!!!"

Soon our Polish relatives arrived and had a snack with grandma, dad, Inga and great-grandma. After that, we said goodbye to our Polish relatives and left for Vitalik's Datcha. All the time we were driving, I was reading and the girls were bothering me. When we got there, we waited for Iliushka and Vitalikfor a little while and started playing together while the adults were giving out the gifts. Later we had dinner and played for a little while longer. We then went into the not-so-deep, and not-so-dark forest. Oh, my, there where so many berries. We gathered the berries for about an hour and then had dessert. Later we went home and I had to write, but before I had to write, we got intyierly soaked for the pouring rain.

Whole day in Kaunas

Tutici
Dinner at a pizzeria
Today we woke up earlier than our usual, for we had to go to Kaunas. Before we went to Kaunas, we drove to an antique/coin seller shop were dad bought some coins and we continued our journey. After about 1 and 1/2 hours, we arrived at our destination. It was a little tough to find parking, but at the end we did park and went to the main street in search for ponchiki. We came to the best ponchik place in town, but the place was closed because it was being fixed. Then, we were hopeless, so we decided to go to the playground that was near by to get our hopes up. Later Grandma found a bakery were sort-of-ponchiki were sold, so we sat down there and ate some pastries. After that we went in another direction and came to the city hall. While we were walking there, we stopped by some cute shops and saw some tutic's (toys) which we really liked, but we didn't buy them then. Soon we saw, like, 10 bride's on the way. Then we went into a lot of galleries and dad bought something for mom (I am not telling anyone what dad bought for mom). When we where done, we ate lunch in a nicely decorated restaurant. Soon we started going to the car, but on the way, we did buy those toys one for each of us and one for Vika. Later we came to our great-grandma's house and played with the cats. Later we got home and played with our new toys. Soon we went to have dinner, but I had dinner with Sasha, Isabella, and dad, while grandma had dinner with our Polish relatives, my great-grandma, and Inga. My great- grandma and Inga left after dinner, but the remaining seven of us went to the near-by bakery for dessert. After about a few minutes Sasha, Isabella and I went to our house and stayed there, while the adults stayed at the bakery

Funny Arguments Gallore

Breakfast
Today I won't do my usual because I need to go to bed really soon. I hope you like this style of my writing. I will tell about funny things that happened today (below). The first one was that Sasha was pulling me off of our bed when I woke up, to go to the bakery with Dad. At the bakery Sasha got bun with the sausage, but only had the bum (dad made sure afterwords that she did eat half of the sausage). Right around lunch time we went to black smith museum and grandma booked a class for making metal nails (we will have the class on Wednesday because black smith cannot do it any days before that). Afterwords we went to the playground where there are only little kids and then we went (surprise) another bakery were we stole (OK, we paid for other stuff) sugar cubes and ate them later. Then we went to the park and played there for about half an hour, but soon dad called us and ask us to go to another (surprise) bakery were we met our Polish relatives. Soon after that dad and I went around the city alone. We stopped by some stores and then went to the Vilnius University. Then I was tired and went home were dad worked for a while and I watched movies with the girls. Later dad called us to go to the restaurant with our polish relatives and our great-grandma and Inga. But when we got into the car dad find out that the restaurant was 17 kilometers outside Vilnius, so he went back to the house and looked up the place and found out that grandma did not tell him the right place. Then we went to the correct place and had to call Inga with the right street name.
Stolovka

And here is the funny part:

For about 15 minutes, or so it seemed, grandma argued with my great-grandma on her phone over which street the restaurant was on because my great-grandma kept telling her letters that weren't correct. Finally they figured out where to go. It went like this:
Grandma: Guriu with U
Grandma: Not O, U
Grandma: Guriu
Grandma: Not nu, Guriu
Grandma: Like ruskoye i
Grandma: Guriu
Concentrating on sweets
Dad: Give me the phone
Dad: U like U,
Dad: Letter I, like stick with a dot

by the way, it was always grandma, since I did not hear the other end.
