A New Twist

I am writing this very differently, so please tell me if you like it is the suggestion box below.

Seventy Three
"'Jacin.' Cinder's tone was full of warning. 'Iko did not sacrifice herself so you crash us into a crater and kill us both'
'Calm down. I know what I'm doing' he responded, pretending to be calm while his heart was a hammer pounding in his chest. ....."

Oh! I'm so sorry. I didn't know that you had starting filming me. Look, my hair is a mess! Uh, never mind, let's just film this thing.

Today was so much fun, well, in between the rainy hours. First, in the morning, we did what every normal person does in the morning; we ate breakfast,  brushed our hair, well most of us. After that, we had an hour of our own time, you know, reading, watching movies, the usual. Then we went to a lake. I'm not sure which lake it was, but it was in a beautiful, green forest and it was extremely fun there. The water was the color of dark sap and tree bark mixed together. It was wonderful! I tried to teach Isabella how to dive, but that didn't quite work out.

After we were done, we went to a little town nearby and had lunch there. While we were eating, it started raining, no not raining, um pouring. Yes that's the word, pouring. Soon, when the rain was gone and it felt like it didn't even happen. When we finished our lunches, we drove to our friends' house. We had a lot of fun there, for a few hours at least.

Then we suddenly became really tired, so we went beck home. Dad was already there, so first we had dinner and then we walked over to my great-grandma's house to say goodbye to my aunt who is leaving tomorrow. Now I must bid you all a goodnight.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand CUT!

Oh, that was hard. Wait are you still filming? CUT! CUT! I said CUT!

3... 2... 1... Blog!

Hello there again today my readers of all ages, I don't know how much you like my blog but know that I will try to write it every day from now on. One more thing before I start, would you mind to start writing comments please? OK thank you for your cooperation. I am going to start write now in:

3... 2... 1... Today when we woke up, we had a really quick breakfast and then we went to the great botanical garden right near um, um .. lets just say, right near some other place. It was really fun there. We fought, caught frogs, fought looked at the interesting flora and fauna, fought and then we had lunch. I had a chicken cutlet, grandma had a salad, grandpa had chips, and Isabella had a few pancakes. After that we all drove to the store again and this time we brought another fan and a few more things.

When we got home, we all started reading our books except for Isabella who was watching another movie. After that we went to the museums again, and again found them closed. Something about reconstruction. Then we went home, had dinner, again, all together. Soon Isabella, grandma and I went for a walk. Then we went for dessert. This time both Isabella and I had ice-cream. After that we went for another walk, then dad joined us and he and grandma had desert. Now I am writing this blog today. The second blog today, how unfair! Now, I must bid you goodnight.

Trampoline Trouble and other stories of 7/31/2017

I'm so sorry that I didn't write this yesterday. The truth is, I was too tired to write anything, giving that I had a full, hard day, or, um, half a full hard day. Plus I came home at 20:00, and that didn't help matters either. More on all of that later. So anyway, in the morning, Isabella woke up "earlier" than me, (So not true!!!) and was rejoicing when I finally dressed up for breakfast. It was like, 85 degrees outside, and it was still 8:00. Grandpa wanted to go and buy a fan with Isabella and me, but grandma strictly forbade it. So, instead grandpa took us to a park he loved when he was younger. Turns out that over the years, the park had changed quite a lot. Surprise, Surprise! Still, grandpa found a playground and let us play. We played for about one hour at most. When we were done playing, grandpa secretly took us to buy the fan. After that, when we got home, we had lunch and started doing the normal things, cleaning, reading, building fans, you know, the usual.

We spent another couple hours doing this, until grandma came home. That's when she took us for a walk around that few museums around the house. little did we know that it was Monday. On every Monday in Vilnius, all of the museums are closed. Because of that, we just want on a very long walk.

When we came back, dad was already home. It was about 6:00 (Time flies when you having fun!)We had dinner all together, and then Dada, Isabella and I went down the road for dessert. I had a chocolate potato, and Isabella had a lemon sorbet. Isabella didn't like her ice-cream that much, so we ended up sharing our desserts.

dad had something fun planned for us with our friends, so he took us on a 40 minute long trek through the town to a bounce house. They had so many trampolines and a few cool new attachments too (We went there last year). Our friend and his two pals came too. One of his friends was another girl, named Isabella, age 8. Though she was eight, she was as mature as any girl in my class and that was really cool about her. The two boys, on the other hand, where really mean. They hit us and called us names etc. When we came home two hours later, we were tired, sore and yeah, just really, really tired. Now I go of to do great things (cough, write blog, cough). Goodbye to you all!

Slow Sunday

Today started out as one of those day. You know, all the adults arguing about were to go, what to do, what to bring. To settle it all, grandma decided to send dad, Isabella and I to the information place to see what was worth going to. We decided to go to a recreational Lithuanian village. We had so much fun, especially the parts with presents which included a toy and necklaces, to the parts with the really good food.

So, that took most of our morning. Actually, no; it took more than the whole morning. But it was worth it.

Then, we decided to have early dinner, or late lunch. Grandma and grandpa chose a German place that their friend, Oleg, recommended. (You might remember him from one of the earlier posts.) Of course, we ordered way to much food. Isabella and I wanted to go for a swim in a near-by lake when we were done, but when we saw and touched the cold, green water we definitely had second thoughts. That is why we just left after we ate. We went to my great-grandma's house to see if my great-aunt was awake, but she wasn't and we went home. Now, after I finish, we plan to walk around Vilnius enjoying the last hours of this Sunday.

Sensational Saturday - 7/29/2017

Today is Saturday. We got to spend the whole day with Dad, for on week-days he works. We had a lot of fun. First, when we woke up, Dad and I went to our favorite bakery and got us breakfast; two sausage rolls, four cottage cheese rolls, and one apple pastry. Trust me, we didn't eat them all! After we came back home and ate breakfast, Dad left to go to a flea market. Grandma and I didn't dawdle. We rushed outside and went exploring. We found a cool woodworking guy and I promised that I would bring Dad next time. We also got Victoria another ... bunny rabbit. Then we went looking for insect repellent. We went to two shops, but only found it in the second one. Then we when around clothing shops looking for cute hats.

Soon, we were called back home by Dad and when Isabella saw the bunny for Victoria, she wanted one immediately. We had a lot of time on our hands, so we started walking around town. Later, we went to Dad's friend's дача. His sons and wife came along too. We had a great time there. We played games, ate, had races, and played with their friend's dog. We spent about four hours there. Later, when we were all tired and sore, we went to my great-grandma's house to say hi to my great-aunt who had come that day.

Now I am still tired and sore. And guess who isn't helping my aching head by screaming at me. You got it: Isabella. I should really get to bed. Goodnight.

Lazy day on a Summer Home - 7/28/2017

Today we spent half of our day at my grandma’s friend’s summer home, also called a дача. In the morning half of our day though, we slept. I don’t know why.  We were probably just really tired.

When we came to the дача, we immediately started filling up a small pool, which we painstakingly blew up to it’s full height to serve as a hot tub. After the pool was full with cold water, we went to a big beautiful lake through the forest near their house.

The whole walk, Isabella was screaming and being paranoid of ticks. The lake was really fun. Our chaperone and owner of the дача, Oleg, found us a sandy beach and we immediately went into the water. Wow that was a horrible idea. The water was super cold and we definitely were not expecting that.  So guess what happened. You got it. We barreled onto the beach and stayed there for a while.

I noticed a school of fish and started chasing them. Isabella followed my lead and soon we had caught a total of ten tiny fish.

We came back to the дача and into the hot tub.  After that, we had dinner and played a little more. When we came home a while later, I plopped down to write this. After a while Dad came and together we went for a walk with him. I had one of my favorite desserts, a chocolate potato.

After, Grandpa’s friend came over and to make more room in the tiny apartment, Isabella, Dad and I went to get macaroons. Now, with a sweet taste in my mouth, I am writing this “article.”

The First Day - 7/27/2017

After a horrifyingly long series of flights which lasted 12 hours all together, Dad, Isabella and I came to our final destination, Lithuania. We came at about 22:20 but were delayed from coming to our cab, due to the a very stupid passport control. We had to drive from Kaunas to Vilnius one and a half hours. Thus, by that time, it was 12:30 and we were completely exhausted.

Anyway, about the day I was supposed to discuss, Thursday 27th, the second day. In the morning, tired and sore from the flight the days before, I was awakened by the blaring of our alarm clock. I volunteered to go with grandma to buy pastries for breakfast. When Grandma and I returned, Isabella was already up and … wait for it … wait for it … watching TV. We all sat down to have breakfast. Afterward,  Grandma, Isabella and I went to the park to go to the playground. Turns out, our favorite swing broke, so we decided to go and check on dad, who by the way was in Caffeine (a coffee shop). We were heading to lunch, so Dad asked us to bring him a Kibinai, which we were having for lunch. We did.

Soon after, though, grandma got tired so we all, except for Dad, went home, Grandma read, Isabella watched movies, I did both and Grandpa slept. After a while, we got bored and we went to my great-grandma’s house. There we did the usual petted her cats, played, talked. Later grandma left to meet with her friend and Dad came to have dinner. We went to a restaurant called Belmontas. We wanted to go to a fish restaurant, but they didn’t allow children. I wonder why.

We had a nice dinner, dropped my great-grandma off at home and now I’m writing this. So good night for now, and I’ll write tomorrow.

Last full day in Vilnius

Isabella
Sasha
On Friday the 22nd, we had quite the adventure. In the morning we woke up, had breakfast and I had to write my blog, which I didn't do the night before. Soon, Irina came to pick us up to go to Skypark, a trampoline place. We then started walking to Skypark. When we came there, Irina bought us tickets and we rushed to the trampolines. After about an hour I fell and probably stretched my leg, and then Sasha fell, but she got better soon. Later, it was 1:00, (how time flew!). Irina showed us a Pizzeria  where we had late lunch. It really hurt jumping on trampolines and walking for me because my leg hurt. We all had juice and Pizza, but Irina had pasta. We came back to Skypark and played in the Jungle Gym for a while, before my leg hurt so badly, that I couldn't bear it and sat down with Irina. Irina's daughter, Valeria, also joined us then. The girls played for a while longer, and then we went to a shop and bought us ice cream. We hurried home. on a trolley bus. Where Oleg was waiting for us to take us to his house with grandma and dad. We drove to his house, had dinner, played, had dessert. And now for the fun part. At dessert, Isabella and Sasha were trowing food at each other. Okay, maybe it isn't so funny. We played for a little while outside on the playground and drove home. We quickly got to bed, but i woke up in the middle of the night, Sasha did too, because our legs hurt.

I am sorry to say to all of the people who like my blog, but tomorrow is my last blog for Lithuania this year. :( :(

Slow Thursday

Today was a very busy day for us. First, we woke up and ate breakfast. I wrote my blog, till eleven and then, Oleg drove us to Akropolis. In Akropolis, which by the way is a mall, where we wanted to ice skate, but we had to wait, 1/2 an hour. While we were waiting, we stopped by some shops to buy Sasha some rain boots, but she didn't like them. Soon, we were let into the ring, and it turns out that both of the girls forgot how to skate. I had to teach them. At the end of the 1 hour session they were doing really well. The hour that we were given flew by quickly. We quickly sat down in a restaurant and gobbled up all the food that we got.

At about 2:00, we walked into some shops, and time flew, so it was about 3:00 when we were done. Inga, who was there also, bought us toys. I got a set for making friendship bracelets, Sasha got a Lego set, Isabella got a stuffed-animal dog, and Vika got a bunny that you have to color (don't tell her!). We walked to the second floor to a jungle gym for kids. We played for an hour there. After playing for an hour strait, we went to a Store bough my great-grandma a rug, and went out of the mall. At that time, grandma called a taxi while Sasha started to balance on top of a garbage can. Of course she fell in. Soon our taxi came and we headed for our great-grandma's house. We had dinner. Irina and her daughter also came. Valeria, Sasha, Isabella, and I went to a few playgrounds, before we went home. At home, we fell into bed and went into a deep sleep.

Almost Accident on Wednesday

Making the nail
Still making the nail
Finally, the day has come! Last week, grandma booked a class for us, on making metal nails, that would be on Wednesday the 20. Early in the morning, we all woke up and had breakfast. After that, grandma did our hair, to make sure that it wouldn't get on fire in the blacksmith's shop. I wrote my blog, and we hurried to to blacksmith's shop. When we got there, we learned about how to do it, put on aprons and glasses, and got started. First, Sasha made the fire brighter and I started making the nail. Soon we started switching around. People came in and took pictures of us. In about an hour, we were done, and the lady who was teaching us, popped the nail into the water. Grandma payed. and we Started walking home, since it was about one. We walked into a little church and started walking to a restaurant were dad already ordered and was waiting for us.

At the Park
After we finished eating, dad went back to work again, but we went to park     . We played there for a while, but there is only one interesting thing the happened, which I want to tell you about. At the playground, there is a carousal, where children, spin it. Three boys, started spinning it slow at first, but then, really, really fast. When it was slow, I jumped off because I was losing my grip, but Isabella and Sasha stayed on. Thankfully Isabella was in the middle, but Sasha was holding on with only her hands,so she was flying in circles, parallel to the ground (If Sasha jumped off, them she would have probably broken something). We went back home, since it was near 4:00. we got home, and played on our iPad's for a while. Soon, we went to Vitalik's home in the city and we played with Ilyishka for a while before we got home and went to bed.
