Day 14 - July 10, 2019: The Yin and Yang

Welcome back! It is Isabella with tonight’s blog!

We woke up at 8. We went to Oleg’s dacha and picked black currant. Then, Oleg treated us to a candy bar and we left. At home, we ate lunch and hung around for an hour. Then Grandpa took us to the Museum of the Genocide of Lithuanian People. We stayed there for two hours. It was so awful. There was a video on execution. When we had enough of looking and torture, we left. It took a few minutes to calm down, but I did.

We walked home and dad came. He said we should go to a restaurant and we went to eat dinner with him, grandpa, and grandma. As usual, grandpa grumbled the whole way to the Georgian House, which was the name of the restaurant. It was great; I had chachapuri. And Geargia had a weird vegetarian dish. While we waited for our food, Georgia and I went to a playground nearby. However, we didn’t have to be there for long, because our food arrived and we could finally eat dinner. After everyone finished eating, we paid a tip and left. We went for a walk with dad, but because the soft serve ice cream machine didn’t work at the place we wanted to go to, we tried something new. We went to a little side street off of Gedomino gatve and got really bad pie. And this time I am not the only one saying that. Isabella Fishteyn out!😉
