Hi it’s Isabella here with today’s blog; Adventures Near and Far.
We woke up at seven o’clock and we went to get breakfast at Svezi Bandeles. We went to Kernavės and we climbed onto hill with Grandma and Grandpa though there were many other hills. It was fun until we went to the river nearby. Near there, a cricket jumped on my hand and I got really scared. Grandma picked a bouquet of wildflowers, but they were starting to wilt, so we had to go. Grandma picked белый налив apples by herself because I didn’t want to take them and we left to eat. However, the restaurant we came to wasn’t exactly a restaurant, so we had to find another one.
We went to the new restaurant and saw a dog. He was a golden puppy and he was really cute and fluffy. I almost cried because of the amount of cuteness overload. I got pancakes with cottage cheese and Georgia got some with cheese and ham. Grandma got fish and fed some to a cat that probably lived near the restaurant, but we’ll never know. And Grandpa got a kebab and rice, but didn’t even eat the rice. We played on the playground there and then we left.
We went to a cemetery where Grandpa’s grandma was. We cleaned the grave stone and left a rock. Then Grandpas friend came in and showed us his parents grave. We dropped him off near his house and left.
Then, we left to get to dad and go home. We waited so long we ate then dad came, he ate noodles and took us out for desert. We got ice cream and it was so good. It was pistachio, or in my case, caramel, soft serve ice cream with little macaroons on top. Dad got some pie from Kibin-inn. And we went home. Now that was fun! We got ready for a good weekend. Isabella out!😉
You should read the Cricket in Times Square, famous book from the 1960's. You would have appreciate the little cricket jumping into your hand. Hi from California! Love, Mark
