Day 2: The Return to Kingston

Hello! Welcome back! Today is 6/19/22. Our current location is in London, England.

The day started with us waking up. We decided that yesterday's Fresko was so good it deserved a second visit. We walked for about twenty minutes and ordered some things. I got a yogurt, chocolate, and fig smoothie which was amazing, and we set off to take the train to Kingston.

Kinston was so cool! Since we lived there nine years ago, we went left to see our old schools and some of our favorite stores. Papa went to a tent in the bazaar to buy Katsu and claimed that it was amazing. Then we went to a
bakery and ate some more. The banana cake was legendary. The reason we were in Kingston was to see some of my parents' old coworkers, but we came early to see our old apartment. Georgia delighted in blaming me for my limited memory of England. Then we went to an art store and bought art supplies for entertainment on later trips. After that, we went across the river to the park. There were thousands of puppies! We even stopped at a gallery of a boat in which we bought an adorable children’s book. The park stretched for miles and Mama claimed that there were two bridges, so we walked longer than needed.

It was time to meet the coworkers. We went to a Thai restaurant and waited for them to arrive. When they did Mama and Papa was very excited, but I was less so. They had kids about Georgia and my
age
and I was really nervous to talk to them. Georgia on the other hand was very social and made new friends.

When it was time to go, we paid and walked to Richmond. Georgia spent the whole way talking to Alex the oldest. I was very uncomfortable and was excited to leave. They decided to take us to Amorino, the second-best ice cream in the world. By then it was less awkward, and I talked a bit more.

Then it was time to board the train. We took two trains and got back to London. By then it was late, and we decided to find food. Remember it's Boston so that was almost hopeless. We wandered around and almost every place was empty. Then it started to rain, and we lost all hope. On our way home we saw a Dim Sum place. It was awesome. The food was tasty and affordable. On the way out the waitress drew a drawing of us.

When we were walking home, we stopped by Ben’s Cookies. When we got home, we ate them, and they were great. Then we went to sleep and waited for tomorrow!
